"N[ART] CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS!"
1999-10-01 until 1999-10-01
N[ART]
Columbus, OH, USA United States of America

N[ART] (NARCOLEPSY Awareness, Recognition & Treatment) is a grassroots effort to educate the world about the neurological sleep/wake disorder narcolepsy through creative works and projects. The first N[ART] Exhibition - a display of art work, poetry, and writings about and by persons with narcolepsy (PWN) - will be held at the Narcolepsy Network conference this October in New York City.

Born in March of 1999, the idea of N[ART] is based on this existing organization: D/ART (DEPRESSION Awareness, Recognition & Treatment) is a national program to educate the public, primary-care providers, and mental-health specialists about depressive illnesses - their symtoms, diagnosis, and treatments. Sponsored by the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) and based on forty years of scientific research, D/ART is a major private/public enterprise to benefit the mental health of the American public. 1-800-421-4211
