BHP Newcastle has an exhibition it is currently holding to commemorate 84 years of Steel making in Newcastle, the exhibition is titled Ribbons of Steel and encompasses many forms of art from dance, music and image. This exhibition showcases various local artists as well as the workers contributions, which showcase all the various sections of the work environment that is BHP Newcastle. Open from 27 August to the 4 September 1999, it is at the Toolroom, BHP Newcastle, New South Wales Australia. Open at 10 am each day.
