Rembrandts self-portraits in the Mauritshuis, a show entitled Me, Myself & I including works of international contemporary artists will be presented at The Hague Historical Museum. That Rembrandt Portrayed himself so frequently is a rather significant fact for which art historians have no unequivocal explanation. However, the reasons why artists today make use of representations of themselves in their work are more obvious.
