British artist Martin Creed makes objects, interventions, statements and musical compositions, often using everyday materials. To celebrate the launch of Tate Britain, he has created a new work for the Art Now programme, fixing a striking neon text to the façade of the neo-classical building at Millbank.

The work reflects the dialogue at Tate Britain between the art of the past and that of our own time, and emphasises the gallery's strong commitment to the contemporary.
