The Fifth Annual 1 Reel Film Festival is devoted to screening the best in Contemporary American Short Cinema with a special presentation of the best International Animations. All films in the American Live Action Competition qualify for the Audience Choice Award and a juried award of 1K.

All films must be finished on 16mm or 35mm and under 30 minutes, production date not prior to January 1999. For more information on how to submit call 206.281.8111

Bumbershoot celebrates its 30th anniversary over Labor Day weekend, September 1-4, 2000 at the Seattle Center in Seattle, Washington. We're currently crafting a line-up of extraordinary national, international and Northwest talent for this 30th annual arts extravaganza which will result in a showcase of more than 2000 performers and artists in nearly every category of music, as well as theater and comedy, dance, film, visual arts, literary arts and kids performance and projects.

Bumbershoot's 74-acre arts playground features more than 25 indoor and outdoor venues, stages and exhibit galleries for arts lovers, people watchers and live entertainment enthusiasts.

The Festival is currently seeking particpants in music, dance, theater, short film, literary arts and visual arts and special projects and vendors for the Festival's Taste of Seattle (food booths), Art Market (hand-made crafts) and International Bazaar (imported crafts).
