Out of Africa gallery announces the one-day exhbition of four exquisite Senegalese tapestries by Master Weaver Abdoulaye Kasse of Theis, Senegal. Co-sponsored by the Wayne Holland Workshop.

Since beginning his artistic training in Senegal in 1966, Kasse has studied weaving at Aubusson and Gobelin in France and at Rabbat in Morocco. Currently, he is chief and weaving teacher at the National Factory in Theis, Senegal, where he has been refining his artistic style and techniques for over thirty years. His tapestries have been exhibited at embassies and hotels throughout Africa. He has also shown his work at the Louvre in Paris and at museums in Belgium, Australia, Italy, Germany, England, Canada and the United States.
