Featuring specially commissioned artwork by six of Scotlands leading contemporary artists, this exhibition explores the powerful relationship between literature and the visual arts. To celebrate Canongate Books hundredth Canongate Classic (Alasdair Grays Lanark), the six artists - from John Bellany to Alison Watt - were each asked to produce a cover image for one of Canongates new Pocket Classics series of Scottish writing.

From Calum Colvin s ingenious installation - based on a much-loved portrait of Robert BU11ls - to David Mach s chilling Jekyll and Hyde sculptures, these works are adynamic and personal response to the works of the great authors of the Scottish canon.
