Georgiades will present a body of sculptures, including stone and woodcarvings. The exhibition embodies the artist’s spiritual journeys – as well as the inspiration of various religious systems of belief and mythology. Incorporating poetry and words in some of the works Georgiades explores the traces of spiritual growth and continuous search for these meanings in the physical forms he creates.

The works take their cue from what the artist recognizes as the conflation of similarities between various cultures, religions and belief systems. He states the sculptures are keys that form connections with various states of 'being' and understandings of life. My work process in these stone and wood pieces also show the transformation from one state (raw) to another (completion). Both are similar states that we experience on our quest for spiritual enlightenment.
