"New Artist Community Offering Residencies at I-Park"
2001-06-06 until 2001-06-22
Radek Associates
EAST HADDAM, CT, USA United States of America

I-Park, formerly known as EightMile Gardens, is soliciting applicants for a small number of artist's residencies that will become available in July of this year. Two sessions will be offered this year, July-August and September-October.  Application deadline for the fall session is June 22, 2001.

As a first, though unofficial, step in the realization of the I-Park vision, the Artists' Enclave will be hosting a small group of individuals interested and challenged in being involved in the birthing phase of a new artists' community. I-Park will focus its appeal to highly creative individuals in the following areas: music composition, landscape and garden design, architecture, creative writing, and visual arts. Separate living and working facilities will be offered at no charge for baseline 8 week residencies, but I-Park will be flexible in accommodating individualized programs.

I-Park has decided that the Artist's Enclave Residency Program will be offered for a shortened, end of summer session for the month of August in addition to the regular July/August session.

They are offering the shorter term in order to accommodate applicants who might otherwise have been unable to attend the full session.

If you are interested in the shortened session, please send your application postmarked no later than June 22 so that we may include it in our decision making process. RADEK ASSOCIATES
