This exhibition presents some 30 vintage prints by Werner Rohde (1906-1990), who in 1927, after studying fine art, turned to photography in Bremen. Self-taught, his photographs range from the world of fashion to portraits and objects which were often found in series.

The images follow the visual vocabulary of 'New Vision' and document Rohde's interest in surreal motifs and his predilection for self-presentation.
