Design Festa Gallery
Tokyo, , JP Japan

Design Festa is a freestyle International Art Event open to artists from all over the world, both professional and non-professional, to exhibit their creative talent. Design Festa is the biggest art event in Japan, with approximately 43,000 visitors and 4,800 exhibitors. Design Festa started in 1994 and as of April 2003 we've successfully completed 17 events as well as 3 sub-events. The event features a wide diversity of creative work, including painting, sculpture, design, fashion and installations, as well as video jockeys, film, live music, and performance art.

Design Festa is held twice a year in spring and autumn at Tokyo Big Sight, the biggest exhibition space in Japan, and the next event, Design Festa vol.18, takes place on November 15th and 16th. Design Festa offers free entrance to media staff at their media information desk. Please contact them to register on the media guest list.

What is Design Festa Gallery?

Design Festa Gallery is situated in Harajuku, Tokyo, and is open year-round, except on the Design Festa event weekends. Instantly recognizable, the stunning Gallery building is in itself a work of art, thanks to the contributions of artists to the exterior of the building since the Gallery opened in 1997. The interior features exhibition spaces of various sizes where artists can exhibit their work and network in a unique and stimulating creative environment. Entrance to the Gallery is free. This building also houses the Design Festa Office on the third floor.
