"Cabado - Ferrandis - Sigurdarson"
2003-11-22 until 2003-12-31
Marina Kessler Gallery
Miami, FL, USA United States of America

Three artists, from three very different parts of the world, with three extremly personal viewpoints and means of expresion but only one objective: the interaction between the artpiece and the observer, the dialogue between them. Marina Kessler Gallery shows this month - Based on a true story: Photographs by Pablo Cabado (Argentina) - La alegria de estar triste (The Joy of Being Sad): artworks by Andres Ferrandis (Spain) - Diagnosis of the Obvious: video installation by Magnus Sigurdarson (Iceland).

Marina Kessler Gallery is the result of an evolution that started with Latinarte.com in 1999. The gallery focuses on helping young artists of diverse origin launch their international careers. They represent emerging and mid-career artists that have already achieved important recognition in the non-commercial art world.

Their curatorial approach is based on our belief that art affects our lives, no matter where we are or where we are from. They are viscerally committed to the intelligence of beauty.

The artists we represent are forceful in their personal premises claiming a qualified audience whose visual literacy make the art transcend. Painting, photography, video, and installations are some of the mediums we exhibit for this acid, complex and committed dialogue. The gallery progresses hand-in-hand with its artists and makes an effort to welcome new collectors. The gallery participates in international art fairs in the United States and Europe.
