The annual Michaelis School of Fine Art (University of Cape Town) graduate exhibition opens on Wednesday, 3 December 2003. The exhibition showcases selected works by the graduating fourth year and master's students of 2003 and will be opened by the Dean of Humanities Prof. Robin Cohen, on the lawns outside Hiddingh Hall Library at 6 pm.

This year, breaking with tradition, the students have opted to curate the exhibition themselves, under the supervision of Gavin Younge. Other art related events have been organised for the evening, which will be announced closer to the time. The exhibition runs from 3 December 2003 to 23 December 2003, open Monday to Friday from 10 am to 4 pm, with guided tours.

A CD Rom catalogue of the graduating students will be available for purchasing on the opening night and at the school‚s office thereafter.
