Visual Arts Alliance 21st Annual Juried Open Exhibition, Apr.19 thru May 21,2004, Houston, Texas. Open to all USA artists 18+, in all media except audio, video or performance art. Juror: Sally Sprout. Awards: $2,500 in cash and prizes. Visual Arts Alliance, founded in 1981 by a group of Houston, Texas artists, is a non-profit, educational organization for serious practitioners of the visual arts and interested members of the general public.

VAA encourages all artists, including non-members. Each year the group holds a well publicized, national, "open", juried exhibition where non-members as well as members are invited to compete.
