Freedom of our space to exploit your own innovation… Since May 2002, PACT Zollverein (Performing Arts Choreographisches Zentrum NRW) / Tanzlandschaft Ruhr) holds a regular Atelier that offers professional artists from diverse sectors of the arts a platform for presenting their latest works, projects and ideas, either on stage or in alternative spaces throughout the centre.

Works considered for Ateliers can fall within the following genres: dance, physical theatre, performance, music, spoken theatre, installations, exhibitions, films, video projections, slide presentations, short readings. Every thinkable space in the building is open for use (main and small stage, studios, corridors, foyers, winter garden etc.)

The stage is generally reserved for live performance work, which should be no longer than 10 minutes in length and doesn’t need to be part of a finished piece or production. We provide full technical assistance but set-up and equipment requirements should be kept as simple as possible.

Please fill out the application form and send it to PACT together with a VHS-videotape (PAL). The form may be found on our website www.pact-zollverein.de under-development.

Applicants living in Germany should include a stamped addressed envelope if they wish to have their application material returned.

The closing date for applications is June 21, 2004.
