"The Trinity: Third Year Anniversary Exhibition"
2005-11-30 until 2005-12-19
Groundfloor Gallery
Balmain, NS, AU Australia

Groundfloor Gallery is pleased to announce our Third Year Anniversary End of Year Group Exhibition titled Trinity from November 30 to December 19, 2005. The Trinity: Third Year Anniversary Exhibition, is the anticipated annual themed group show of new works by the gallery's stable of both established and emerging artists, and is a compelling overview showcasing some of the most interesting art of our time. The exhibition at the Gallery marks the conclusion of a successful 2005 season, where the 19 Artists have all shown during the past year or two.

The Trinity Exhibition includes new works by Frank Boyle, Phillip Briant, Patrick Donohoe, Barbara Doran, Amanda Dumas-Hernandez, Jane Eyles, Janet Haslett, Katherine Hattam, Christina Khumari, Vivan Massry, Suvira McDonald, William Millward, Madeleine Preston, Timothy Preston, Katrina Simon, Katharine Tebbatt, Andrew Totman, Ilya Volykhine, and Deborah Young.

Highlights from this year’s exhibition include Patrick Donohoe’s "Three Pieces," an impressive painting piece on paper and vinyl, influenced by Julian Schnabel; Ilya Volykhine’s "Three Windows & A Chaise Lounge" a gorgeous four panel oil painting/collage made up of painted images and letters from the artist's mother in Russia; Jane Eyles’s "The Currawongs," a perspex, plywood and paper sculptural piece of three birds separated and contained by three canvases.

"In addition to being a celebration of the Gallery's past three years with the artists involved, this themed showcase of emerging contemporary work gives art enthusiasts a great chance to see many of the Gallery's present stable of Artists all in one exhibition, as well as, to snap up small, varied, and engaging pieces that are some of the best works of our time."
