"Call for Artists: THE PINCH, A Literary Journal"
2006-12-28 until 2007-01-30
The Pinch, Univeristy of Memphis
Memphis, TN, USA United States of America

THE PINCH, the literary journal of the University of Memphis, seeks art to be featured in forthcoming issues. Published twice yearly by U. of M., printed by Hignell, and distributed nationally by Ingram, THE PINCH serves as a forum for both established and emerging writers as well as visual artists.

VISUAL ART

We look for lively, provocative works that can be well represented in our four-color print run. Each issue features three to four artists. Photographers and visual artists of all media are encouraged to submit.

Send digital representations of works, 5-8 images. All files must be 360 dpi TIFF images no smaller than 7x10 inches in their original form. The files mustn't be converted from a smaller JPEG to a larger TIFF to avoid degradation of the image. Title, medium, and original size should be listed on the file name, and a title sheet to correspond attached.

Artists must include: resume, short bio of 50 words or less, artist statement, contributor’s photo, and pertinent press.

If submitting hardcopy, please send above requested information to:
