John Nolan is pleased to announce that his paintings will be available at The John Mackie Gallery, Harrogate, North Yorkshire. UK. His work will be on show at the Gallery from July 2007. The Gallery will present a selection of John's work including his "Paying Homage Series" and "Abstract" work. The Scottish artist John Mackie and the Irish artist John Nolan have been collaborating and exchanging ideas throughout a 20 year friendship. John Nolan introduced John Mackies Work to Ireland in 1988. Both artists explore colour and are inspired by the work of Vincent Van Gogh. When John Mackie decided to open his new Gallery he immeditely invited John Nolan to exhibit. Both artists are planning a joint exhibition of their work in 2008. John Nolan has been a Premiere Portfolio artist at absolutearts.com since 2001.

John has been working on a series of paintings paying homage to the great masters, yet again pushing the boundaries of colour and composition. Taking his unique vision to another level of artistic exploration, John combines his vibrant stylised approach to painting with various symbolic references, which allude to Icons in the world of  Visual Arts. John is also hoping that the new seires of work will introduce the viewer to artists and art movements," A visual journey of enlightenment for the artist and viewer alike" John said.
