Il Ramo d'Oro opens the New Year with an anthological exhibition entitled "Not only on Paper" of the well known Neapolitan artist Francesco Verio. Opening on the 12th of January at 6 pm with introduction by Gianni Nappa. It will be possible to visit the exhibition until the 27th of January, 2008 every day but on Thursday from 4 to 8 pm. During a period in which Art eludes every temptation of a stated definition shaping itself in a variety of theorization, Francesco Verio discovers the human figures in every vanity and expectation. It is the man with his real life; in some ways Verio usually makes what the middle nineteenth century painters made when they included in their images the hottest social and urban themes of their times. Francesco Verio attended the"Istituto D'Arte Statale"now called Palizzi, under the guide of E.Cajati and A.De Siena and the "Accademia di belle Arti" in Naples and he graduated in 1982. Now he is a Painting and Art professor in Monteruscello "Liceo Artistico" Pozzuoli, Naples.
