Broadway Gallery NYC is pleased to announce Lure, a group show of talented international artists including Michel Beaucage, Arvee, Destroy Be, Sandro Bisonni, Monika Iatrou, Freddy Flores Knistoff, Béatrice Englert, Ko Bhamra, and Jane McAdam Freud. The Lure exhibition revolves around a complex psychological, philosophical and linguistic concept developed Malone that are influenced by the earlier ideas of the French writer, thinker and dissident Surrealist, Georges Bataille. This group show was curated by Basak Malone. Ko Bhamra has been a Premiere Portfolio Artist at absolutearts.com since 2001.

Exploring the semantics of desire as fascination, attraction and repulsion, the exhibition presents a space in which to investigate the concept of “the other.” Through this semantic play, representations of “the other” are not fixed or anchored in any single meaning, but invented and re-contextualized across a diverse signifying field that is indecipherable. Participating artists are invited to address the space between themselves and others, sites that include, but are not limited to the concept of “the borderline,” the “in-between,” “the similacrum,” and other “liminal spaces."
