Job Opportunity at Spacex Technical Manager (0.4, fixed term) £20,419 (pro rata), 2 days a week. Spacex is a leading contemporary art space in Exeter presenting a year round programme of temporary exhibitions, off-site and outreach projects. The Technical Manager is responsible for all aspects of the technical co-ordination of Spacex's artistic programme including the planning, co-ordination and installation of gallery exhibitions, off-site and outreach projects. The post holder is responsible for managing a small team of technical staff.

This position requires at lease two years experience in a comparable post and a knowledge and interest in contemporary visual arts. You will need a flexible approach to working as some evening and weekend work may be necessary.

The post is a fixed term contract until March 2009 with the possibility of continuation pending funding.
