Sunrise Gallery Features Linda Joyce Ott's Abstract Paintings Celebrating the Dance of Lifein a group exhibition entitled "Spring Thaw: Abstract Works by Linda Joyce Ott, Wendy Ferguson, Anita Weitzman". Linda Joyce Ott, a recently transplanted Torontonian who now lives and works in Hamilton, is showing mixed media, abstract paintings at the Sunrise Gallery, 765 Beach Blvd, Hamilton Beach from March 7 to April 5, Thurs. to Sun. 1-5 pm. "Life involves continuous change, endless motion, and much mystery," says Linda. Her "Dance of Life" paintings evoke the ephemeral throbbing of the life force in all its mysterious manifestations through time and space. In these works, Linda celebrates the movement, the ecstasy, the primal orgasmic moment that begins with the Big Bang and extends outwards to infinity. Linda Joyce Ott promotes her work a Premiere Portfolio at absolutearts.com.

Linda's work offers a visceral, visual representation of the tensions, disturbances and swirling forces that inform her perception of internal and external realities.

Linda Joyce Ott is a mixed media artist producing conceptual and abstract paintings, collages, photography, and 3D boxes. In recent years, she has had two solo exhibitions at the Visual Arts Ontario Gallery in Toronto and has been represented in numerous group art shows and festivals. This is her first exhibition in Hamilton.
