elements

The elements series began with a triptych of this name. I visualize something of the elementals, something not quite definable, sometimes earthy or fluid, sometimes ethereal or fiery, sometimes woody or windy, sometimes metallic. The elements are the hidden treasures of the earth, and whether decorative or practical, poisonous or healthy, destructive or useful, they are the road into science, or avenues to the metaphysical.

organics

This series is comprised of thoughts of the Earth. What comes to mind are things of the earth, its random contours and textures, its terrestrial beauty. One might look at a stone, or a forest, or a landscape. Yet I do not leave the possibility of water out, as water is so much a part of our earth. It runs amidst the earth, around it, through it, under it, and precipitates over it.
