This summer S1 Artspace will host its forth artist residency from 24th July - 27th September 2009. The residency will be followed by a solo exhibition in October - November 2009. The residency is supported by a £1,500 production fee, a £500 travel budget and accommodation in Sheffield. The resident artist will have sole use of the project space to use as a studio which is located centrally to the twenty S1 studios. Previous Artists in Residence include Pil and Galia Kollectiv (2008) George Henry Longly (2007) and James Pyman (2006).
