In "Lay of the Land : Interpretations of the Landscape in Oil and Pastel", seventeen works by Susan Sinyai will be displayed in the upstairs gallery at Black Mountain Center for the Arts July 3 -31, 2009. In this solo exhibit, Susan focuses on the landscape, depicting scenes from both Western North Carolina and coastal areas. Some of the works are executed in oil, others in pastel.
