Gallery Two-Ten, Ltd., Colorado's premiere contemporary art gallery, proudly presents a vibrant, new body of work by painter Dianna Cates Dunn of Mark Mayer. The opening reception for this expansive collection of work was held Saturday, September 25th with the show through October 21st. Dianna Cates Dunn has been a Premiere Portfolio Artist at absolutearts.com since 2003.

"Relationships. That's what our human existence seems to be all about.\" So says artist Dianna Cates Dunn whose newest body of work is to go on exhibition in September. "How we relate to people, places, and things, is what gives definition, meaning and feeling to the human experience." Ranging from the ethereal to the bold, Dianna's pieces draw the viewer into a moment of a relationship experience. Sometimes it is a powerful moment of passion, while other pieces examine the lighter side of friendship, discovery, and feeling.

Showing a comprehensive and mature mastery of her craft, Ms. Dunn paintings continue to attact patrons who are initally attracted her intuitive use of color and form. Organic shapes along with geometric forms are utilized as a symbolism for life and it's surroundings in all the works. "I continue to find it facinating how people seem to intuitively understand the idea, emotion or feeling I was trying to convey even before any symbolism is explained to them." says Dianna. "When that happens, my efforts are validated!"

Marianne Gunter, Owner and director of Gallery Two-Ten has waited for an opportune time to put this show. "Dianna's work is a marvelous way to kick off our upcoming season. Her range of style continues to attract and amaze our clientele." September is always the beginning of the busiest season, says Ms. Gunter.
