"Call for Artists : TWELVE a play of light"

Photography’s very name is light. Viewpoint Gallery’s juried TWELVE exhibit explores photographic interpretations of captured, held and translated light. Images created in any form of photography will be accepted for consideration (i.e. film or digital, alternative process, mixed media, digital manipulations, montages, photograms, hand-colored photographs, etc.). Sharmon Goff, Chair of the Department of Design at CSU, Sacramento, is the judge. Artists may enter 1 to 6 prints.

CALENDAR
9.14.09 to 10.13.09 - Entry period
10.13.09 - Deadline for submission of Entries, Registration Form and Entry Fee
11.3.09 - Announcement of accepted entries
11.4.09 to 12.2.09 - Deliver framed prints or matted prints to Viewpoint Gallery, 2015 J Street, Sacramento, during regular gallery hours. Mailed entries must be received by December 1, 2009.
12.11.09 - Exhibit opens with the Members, Artists and Friends Reception
12.12.09 - 2nd Saturday Reception
1.2.10 - Last day of the exhibit

People’s Choice Award: $144
Plus 6 Honorable Mention Awards for a Viewpoint Workshop valued at $75.

Note: If you enter more than 6 images, only 6 will be judged.
