privacy, celebrity, and technology.

We'd like to
give a shout out to Atlanta architects and friends of the Contemporary Brian
Bell and David Yocum of BLDGS.
Bell and Yocum became involved with the Contemporary via their architectural
intervention Boundary Issues
included in last winter's Mergers & Acquisitions exhibition. More recently they
examined and imagined the Contemporary structure and site as part of our
Metropolitan Atlanta Arts Fund Toolbox award for facility assessment. Brian and
David were just featured in an AJC article and they can also be found in the
November issue of Metropolitan Home, as being among the next generation
of Design's Rising Stars.

Leaf
showers, a nip in the air, the promise of hot cocoa to stave off the chill and
drizzle of the outdoors. The signs point to one thing: the holiday season is
just around the corner. You've worked hard throughout this challenging year, so
why celebrate with the same old dried up mistletoe? The Atlanta Contemporary
Art Center is a fresh, singular space for hosting parties that will be talked
about long after 2009 is a memory.
Contact Events Coordinator Alana Wolf at awolf@thecontemporary.org, or 404.688.1970 x212, to inquire about end-of-the-year bookings. Make way for some
magnificent merrymaking!
