óõíÞèéæå ï êáëëéôÝ÷íçò. Óôï óçìåßï áõôü èá åíçìåñùèïýí ãéá ôéò
Ýííïéåò ôïõ üãêïõ êáé ôïõ ÷þñïõ êáé ãéá ôï "ðÝñáóìá" áðü ôéò

Drawing-Sculpture Workshop
for Elementary School
Children
On the occasion of
the exhibition
"THE COMPLETE SCULPTURES
OF EDGAR DEGAS"
from
27/11/2009 until 24/4/2010,
the
Herakleidon Museum organizes
a
drawing-sculpture
workshop
for elementary school children,
based on the art of
Edgar Degas.
These
2 two-day workshops
address to students ages 8-12 yrs and are
conducted by the painter Pascaline Bossu*.
The workshops will take place on the following dates:
1st
Workshop:
1. Saturday 28/11/09, 13:30 -
15:30
2. Sunday 29/11/09, 13:30 -
15:30
2nd
Workshop:
1. Saturday 5/12/09, 13:30 - 15:30

Sunday 6/12/09, 13:30 - 15:30
in the Museums
educational room.
The children, through a pleasant
tour of the exhibition, will become familiar with the life
and work of Edgar Degas. Then, they will draw with charcoal
on paper one of the Degas subjects, based on which they
will then create their own sculpture. At this point, they will
learn about concepts such as volume and space and the transition
from two dimensions to three dimensions. More specifically,
on the first day (Saturday), the children will take
a tour of the exhibition, draw their subject and start working on
their sculpture, whereas the next day (Sunday), they will
finalize their sculpture.
The total cost per student is 40 euros for each two-day workshop,
including materials.

**Ms Pascaline Bossu is a
graduate of the Olivier de Serres School of Fine Arts, in
Paris and she is the director of the Atelier Coccinelle -
Educational Center for Drawing, Painting and Sculpture in Agia
Paraskevi, Athens.
