The Miami Beach Community Health Center in conjunction with ArtCenter South Florida present this juried exhibition entitled "Through the Eyes of Love" from December 1 through December 15, 2009. Enjoy a collection of paintings, sculptures, photographs and fashions depicting how HIV/AIDS has changed the lives of so many around the world. John Powell, who has been a Premiere Portfolio Member a absolutearts.com since 2002, displays his work "Trapped in Time" in the exhibition.

Powell comments, "In my compositions, even though the figures kiss and are harmoniously balanced, interlocking with another, all actions are synchronized conceptually. Each figure is psychologically isolated from the others in his own realm and from the viewer. A mood of introspection and sad contemplation prevails in his or her own intimate dialogue."
