Artists of America has named Apollo, the Internationally Renown Environmental Artist to be their Director of Environmental Art. Artists of America is a Non Profit Organization dedicated to making sure the next generation of Children have the Artistic opportunities as those who came before them.. Their Artist members reach out to their communities to set up programs and create a network of Professional Creative Mentorship. Some of their best programs work with kids at risk. Artists of America have programs that give foster children a year of art classes. They set up memorial scholarships for foster children, teaching them: music, dance, theater, drawing, cartooning, mural painting creative writing storytelling and book club membership and so much more. Apollo has been a Premiere Portfolio Member at absolutearts.com since 2009.

Apollo (http://www.apolloworldgalleries.com or www.absolutearts.com/apollo) will be helping to create Visual Arts Programs that can be implemented nation wide for both children and professional instructors to teach the programs on a national basis. Apollo has worked with Environmental groups and non profits for over 30 years to help raise awareness and funding through the Arts. In 2007 Apollo was taken to China by the Foundation of American Cultural Exchanges, where he taught a six week course entitled "Releasing the Creative Dragon" at the Jilin University of Arts and Animation. Apollo also lectured to over 500 Chinese Art students, faculty and government officials. At the end of the course, Apollo was given a teaching degree and made a professor of the college. Apollo was then blessed with a week of sightseeing some of China's most popular destinations.

One project is focused on Kids at risk. It will show them how to turn from tagging for bragging rights to being able to help their communities create a positive outlook throw the arts. We will even show them how to make money doing it.
