Waters - Vesiä - Amanzi brings together three Finnish artists living in
Kuopio, surrounded by lakes, and three South African artists from Cape
Town and Durban, living on the shore of oceans.
Water is the beginning of all life on earth and is a prerequisite for
survival. Water separates and connects people. Each artist on the
exhibition explores Water in a different way; there is social,
environmental, elemental and personal commentary in a range of media
from photography to ceramics, painting, paper work, print making,
installation and video.
