London Art Fair presents over 100 galleries featuring the great names of 20th century British art and exceptional contemporary work from leading figures and emerging talent. You’ll also find solo shows and curated group displays in our Art Projects section, with galleries drawn from across the world, while Photo50 is a showcase for contemporary photography, this year curated by critic Sue Steward. http://www.londonartfair.co.uk/ The Austrian Mountain Hut Fund Auction In 2008, whilst climbing in Austria I was involved in a climbing incident. My companion fell into a crevasse during a white-out, which made his extrication extremely difficult. Had it not been for the excellent assistance of the staff at the nearby Neue Prager hut it's doubtful that he could have been recovered safely. On many occasions in electrical storms and bad weather the Alpenverein huts have provided an invaluable refuge to many and long may they continue to do so. The Hut Fund is very near to my heart. It provides much needed funding for the upkeep of these Alpine refuges that on countless occasions since the dawn of alpine climbing have saved lives of those desperately at need in the mountains. I propose to raise funds through auctioning one of my paintings on eBay. All the proceeds will be donated to the AAC Hut Fund. The Auction will be launched at the start of March and represents a rare chance to you, to own one of my coveted paintings and help raise funds for a worthwhile cause.
