Ripples wants to recreate the feeling of looking at the waves formed on the water’s surface. The installation is made up of 520 paper cutout elements, pinned onto the wall. These shapes project their shadows, creating an illusion of three-dimensionality, as if the piece was extended beyond the wall onto which it hangs.
