Artwork Description:
Photographs from the streets of London, New York, San Francisco, and other cities of the world, show that a constrained view where pavement lines come together can form a work of art. The angles and swaths of color in these photos, printed with a striking level of realistic detail, exemplify Constructivist art.
This photograph called Tate, was taken in London, across the street from the Tate Museum where theres a bike lane. As it shows, the sun was setting and the weak light of the early evening was gently touching the ground. Unlike other cities, the city of London has very many types of pavement paint with a wide variety of colors. This picture represents those shapes and colors that one can easily find in those gray streets.
