Artist Statement:
My goal is to better my self
and to better my work. Every
finished piece I create leaves
me with both a sense of
satisfaction and of wanting.
Wanting to be better than I
am, to improve on each piece
is what drives me forward and
motivates me. It is true that
we are our own worst critics,
but my own self criticism does
not deter me, it defines
me....

Why Did You Become An Artist I became and artist because I don't want to get a real job.

Your Personal Biography I have always been able to draw reasonably well, but only in the last three years or so had I really gotten the hang of it. Well, I shouldn't say that I've gotten the hang of it, I just suck a lot less than I used to!
The best thing about art for me, aside from the sense of satisfaction I get while doing it, is the mild sense of distaste I have for my own completed work. It sounds strange, but that vast amount of self criticism I have for my own work is what drives me and motivates me to work harder and become better.
