I became an artist because I have been drawing and painting my entire life. It's in my family, and I really liked doing it from an early age. I love to create something for another to look at. |

| Your Personal Biography |
I was born on December, 25th 1980. I have lived in Pennington Gap, VA my entire life. I love to draw and paint. I took every art class possible in school. I graduated from high school in 2000. I took 2 classes of art in my senior year. I attended College in the fall of 2000 at Mountain Empire Community College in Big Stone Gap, VA. I graduated from there in 2006. I have been exhibiting my work my entire life. I first started out entering my work in the county fair when I was a child. I love to exhibit my work for people to view. I try to have exhibits as much as possible. I have had one-man shows of my Star Wars artwork, my dogs artwork, and an Elvis & Marilyn Art Show in August of 2008. I always try to outdo myself and create something that's different and bigger and better than what I've done before. I was chosen to paint a mural of 30 classic Hollywood movie stars to be placed at the Lee Theatre in Pennington Gap, VA. The Theatre is being reopened after a 30 year closure. My mural titled 'Classic Hollywood' is a collage of the great movie stars of years past such as John Wayne, Elvis Presley, Marilyn Monroe, Katherine and Audrey Hepburn, Bette Davis, and many more. I am so very proud of my work and love doing it! |
