| Your Personal Biography |
I am a mainly self-trained artist who enjoys creating works that stimulate thoughts and emotions with the bold use of color and shading. I've worked with a number of different media, including chalk and oil pastels, charcoal, wood block prints, acrylic paints, and colored pencils, but have recently been working with collage as a way to fuse the arrangement aspect of visual art with the spontaneity of the creative process. By finding and re-arranging materials as well as creating drawings and paintings of my own that stem from or even contrast the themes and aesthetics those "found" materials, I have attempted to create images that are at once spontaneous and thoughtful. |
