"I love the world of art and
artists. I live breathe,
sleep, walk and talk art.
Note I do not eat art.

I love to use printmaking
because I think it is the most
liberating and sophisticated
of all the mediums available
to a visual artist. I like
how it makes you really
consider the nature of the
materials that you are using.
I like to sometimes use found
objects or even "ready mades".

Why Did You Become An Artist I know it's a cliche but I always really deep down wanted to spend my life making art. I undertook my degree in fine art when I was 26, so I was a bit late starting. I did my masters in Fine art when I was 33 so again a little late.

I just have this drive inside of me that demands to be met. I have this urge to make visual representations i.e., drawings or prints that are depicting something about what it means to be human - to be alive. I love experimenting with different processes and materials. Its fun.

Your Personal Biography Please note

my BLOG is viewable at

http://printmakingart.blogspot.com

I love the world of art and artists. I live breathe, sleep, walk and talk art.

I love to use printmaking because I think it is the most liberating and sophisticated of all the mediums available to a visual artist. I like how it makes you really consider the nature of the materials that you are using. I like to sometimes use found objects or even 'ready made's.

As far as I am concerned I can use whatever seems the best and perhaps what I should say is, the most appropriate medium or technique or materials.

My most recent installation was a printmaking installation, called ARAN which I was invited to show, at the Dalarnas Museum in Sweden, as part of the Falun Graphics Triennial.
