Artist Statement:
These paintings were mainly
done in response to a family
illness...which resulted in my
using old photographs as a way
of attempting to revive a
parent's failing memory. They
then became a way of exploring
my own experiences and of
trying to find out "who I
really am" and "where I really
come from"....
