| Your Personal Biography |
Alexandra Heyes is an established New Zealand painter specialising in figurative painting and portraiture, with work in collections in the UK, Europe, the USA, Australia and New Zealand.
While living in France, Alexandra exhibited with the Vault Gallery in Antibe, resulting in an interview on the Radio Riviera Arts' programme in Monte Carlo and an invitation to exhibit at the internationally renowned Hotel de Paris.
Inspired by the Fayum Portraits of Egypt, Alex prepares many of her own paints and painting mediums.
The uniqueness of her style is a result of a layered technique to achieve the extraordinary hues and textures which have become a signature of her painting |
