Artist Statement for Alex Mortensen
|
|
|
Currently I am most interested in painting of natural areas, especially coastal scenes and tend to concentrate on sunrise and sunsets when I really appreciate the glorious colours and patterns of clouds nteresting. I like, too, the waves at the beach. I hope that my portrayal of clouds and waves continually improve over time.
I am very committed to art and am studying Fine Art through Curtin University. I have gained High Distinctions in each unit studied to date.
