Dear visitors:
My name is Alice Yang. I am a Dane with Chinese background. I love to paint and have been doing it since I was a child. I have always felt a strong need to use my art as an expression of my feelings. The beauty of nature, the world of art and the colourful cultures and histories of both the East and the West have always inspired me greatly and have given me creative motivation.
Passion, fervour and sensuality are the primary themes in my creations. I love using strong, emotional colours since these evoke a sense of joy and optimism. My intention, for the most part, is to portray the contrast between feminine and masculine, eroticism, the dancing fluidity and the pattern of movement. Flowers and nature are also often incorporated into my works.
For me, passion is the driving force behind my creations. I feel blessed and happy to be able to enjoy what I do and to be able to express myself through my work. It is my hope that my paintings will impart positive energy, sensuality, balance and harmony, as well as convey to others the happiness and passion that I truly sense, which are embraced in my art.
