Reality meets myths. Personal visual impressions of chosen English gardens, ut lately also Mediterranean seaside, are coming together in imaginative collages and alchemic transformation.
The beauty of forms and colours in nature and, occasionally poetic and mythic archetypes (for example Heliogabale, Persephone andArtemis) are elements of an internal building, creating new mythologies and a personal Utopia.
I do not paint in order to explain things;I obtain understanding of myself and the cosmos after the completion of a work and a series of works, to which I have been driven by an hypersensitive process and not through a rational plan.
The 4 Elements, the 4 Seasons, in their physical transformation and in their psychological metaphor, are the canvas of my spiritual activity, translated in my painting handwork. Gardens, Dance and the soul of the sea are the tools and the substance of my paintings.
