Artist Statement:
Artist Statement
My scroll paintings are a crossbreed of Chinese ink painting and my professional background in traditional 2d cartoon animation. My work reflects my interest in memory, man vs. nature, political and social satire. I'm interested in blurring the lines between the decorative and contemporary arts; asking viewers to question ideas about authenticity and tradition.
