Artist Statement:
I never had any intentions of
showing people what I had
created. Each painting
represented to me a missing
link within myself. Sometimes
my struggle within grows into
fear that grows into a panic,
other times I think I have
solved the riddle and feel an
unfamiliar sense of well
being, as if I had entered
into a fragile peace treaty
with life. I would understand
my struggle, my fear or
whatever I was dealing with at
that very moment when the
painting was complete.
Showing people my artwork was
comparable to standing naked
before an arena. As I reach an
understanding of the concepts
described in my paintings I am
then capable of releasing them
for the public eye. I believe
that whatever someone needs to
see, they will see....
