Painter, drawer, engraver,
Anca Nicolau lives and works
in Paris, France.After a
master's degree from the
National Institute of Fine
Arts of Bucharest she pursued
as a teacher of fine arts, an
illustrator set and costume
designer and in the same time
participated in various group
and solo exhibitions (2001,
2000, 1998, Drawing and
Watercolor Exhibition, Paris,
Espace Eiffel-Branly_1998,
1997, 1996 Famous and Young of
To-day Exhibition, Paris,

Her paintings and drawings are
to be found in private
collections in U.S.A, Italie,
France, Austria, Greece.
At the edge of the real and
the imaginary, under the
appearance of forms from the
reality, these landscapes
unveiled a possible world, a
space defined only by the
mistery of the unknown.
The universe revealed by this
silent voyage contains more or
less familiar shapes:shells,
conches, hills, spirals, and
symbols of the opposed yet
complementary principles such
as sky/earth, light/darkness,
ascent/descent. But they do
not help our eye to recognize
