Artist Statement:
As an artist, I like nature. I
want my paintings to show my
passion for nature.
I try to explore the ideas of
eastern point of view and
western techniques to create
my own style of painting.
Everythins caught by my eyes
is colorful.
Each time I let my spirit and
emotion lead the feelings when
I paint.
On the trip of
self-exploration, I found that
there is vibration between
elements in the cosmos. I am
trying to define the vibration
by my art in different ways.
I always hope to offer an
exciting, fresh way of looking
at things with my work.

Born in Taipei, Taiwan, both the eastern and western influences come out in my artwork.
Since childhood, I have loved to draw and paint, I try to express my feelings and my heart in everything I paint.
I don’t like to paint for sale, because that would be too easy for an artist.
I like to create unique art works.
So when people see my art, they know that is from Andrew Wang.
I hope to offer an exciting, fresh way of looking at things.
