Your Personal Biography ANNE POLLARD HUDSON
annepollard@videotron.ca

Anne was born in England and has lived in the Hudson area for the last twenty four years. She worked for many years with clay before taking up painting, which she has pursued for the last seventeen years.
Her formal education in art started at John Abbott College with two years in fine arts, and continued at Concordia University in Montreal with courses in studio arts and Art history. Here she was taught and influenced by such accomplished artists as Francoise Sullivan of the Autonamists,Francois Morelli and Marion Wagschal.

Anne’s love of nature shows in her work, whether representational or abstract in form. She uses colour and texture to depict the beauty and mystery of the natural world. Sometimes monochromatic, the works evoke a more spiritual journey. Her canvases often reach large proportions and contain a variety of mediums.

A member of the Hudson Artists, Anne shows twice a year with the group. She has shown in the juried shows of the Women’s Art Society of Montreal, Maison Trestler in Vaudreuil- Dorion, and Stewart Hall sales and rental Gallery in Pointe Claire.
