Biggest Artistic Inspiration For my personal work Jim Hansen and his work with pupets and the dark yet fun look he created in his movies. The movie labrinth effected my childhood greatly and I always see a little of it in my work. My paintings are inspired by life and a little of everything I love to see in other artists.

Why Did You Become An Artist The need to feel complete and feel that I am actually doing what I should with my life. I have always enjoyed the crativity and the outlet for my voice it gives. I also enjoy getting people to look at the world a little differently and grasp at there own creative outlet.

Your Personal Biography My artistic career started young, with drawing on the bedroom walls with anything that would make a mark much to my mothers shagrin. I started selling my work to family members and neighbors in high school and created a small buisness of painting t-shirts and jean jackets with what ever image they requested that spread to painting windows of local business for Christmas.
I went Grant McGewn in Edmonton Alberta for there Visual Design and Communication degree focusing on an Illustration Major. I became a graphic designer working in a sign shop and attempting to build my sculptur portfolio on the side. Several small comissions and shows have pushed me to focus on this as a long time career.
